So where am I going in life? That has to be the 100 million dollar question for just about everybody that has lived. Just like everybody in the world, I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen to me in the future. I may not know what is going to happen but I do have plans for my future in increments, whether 5 year, 10 year or even lifetime goals.
I have quite a few short 5 year goals that are pretty realistic in my opinion. One goal is to actually leave the country and just travel, it doesn’t matter where. My number one place that I want to travel is Tokyo Japan, and a close second would have to be London. I just want to be able to experience another culture outside of my own. Another short term goal I want to be done would be to have my dream job. Now my plan is to teach for four years then after that I want to work for a tech company that allows me to travel, either across the country or across the world.
My 10 year goals are something a little harder to do or I just want more time to accomplish, one being able to learn multiple instruments. One other 10 year goal that I have is to start buying my own home and property, by that time I’ll have a stable job that allows me to start making payments on a house, hopefully my credit will be good enough by that time.
I really only have one life time goal and that is to be happy and successful. A lifetime of success and happiness is something that is truly obtainable and that’s what I plan on having happen to me. I want my lifetime goal to affect my kids and even my kids kids. Tomorrow is never promised but I can still plan for tomorrow.
